There are seven flower beds in the Village. Grants were obtained from the Kent County Council's Member Fund for the initial set up.

In the past sponsorship for three of the flower beds was provided by a village business.

One of  the flower beds in Station Road by the bus shelter  is sponsored by Jean and Peter Morgan
The other flower bed is to be sponsored by Bob Baker of the Cock Inn.
Bob h as also agreed to sponsor the flower bed
at the entrance to the Recreation Ground .

Many thanks to  Cock Inn management and customers who raised £162 recently towards  the upkeep of the flowerbeds in
general. This was from entry fees and a raffle at one of the monthly Sunday Quizes.

West Kent Extra Linda Hogan Fund has sponsored the two  flowerbeds at Southdene and at Parkside. for the past two years.
Council hopes that this organisations will be able to continue with its support.
