  • Do NOT be tempted to have your drive resurfaced by a 'casual caller' who is working in the area and has some tarmac 'left over'.

Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Letter from Phil Wilson of Breakthrough Mid-Kent.

My name is Phil Wilson, I am a Volunteer Chairman of Breakthrough Mid Kent. A fundraising group operating on behalf of and in association with Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Bogus fliers are being delivered in Medway and Kent pertaining to be from Breakthrough Breast Cancer. These are for collections of unwanted clothes and cloth. This is an  illegal,  unlicensed operation, with no permission from any authority or Breakthrough Breast Cancer. No money goes to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Trading Standards, Medway Council and the police are aware, so too is the BBC. Items have appeared on both BBC TV and Radio.

In order to try and track this crime can you please send a brief email stating the road and the town where the flier has been dropped and the advertised collection date. charitybags@breakthroughmidkent.org.uk

Please only notify me of "Breakthrough" fliers.

If you have any questions please include these in the email but add "question" in the title box.

Thank you for your support.
